Churchwood Primary Academy is a small, friendly academy with a wealth of educational expertise in a picturesque woodland setting.

Our vision is that at Churchwood Primary Academy, everyone can - everyone can read; everyone can write; everyone can be numerate.

We respect each child as an individual, guiding and supporting them to reach their full potential. Through high quality teaching and learning our children develop knowledge and skills giving them confidence, independence, determination and ambition which will shape their futures.

Our commitment to working in true partnership with our parents and carers. We work tirelessly to ensure that we aim high and achieve together.

We look forward to sharing our academy with you and answering any questions you may have.

Why Churchwood Primary Academy?

Early Years Village

Our nursery and reception children mix seamlessly in our outside learning areas from Day 1, easing transition into the main school for our youngest learners.

Our stimulating and challenging nursery offers and engaging, free-flow environment designed to optimise individual development.

Our varied range of extra-curricular activities could include football, netball, cricket, multi skills, story-teller cookery, woodland, street dance, ICT, art, chess, violin and baton twirling.

Forest School

We have our own forest school site set within the grounds of the academy, offering inspirational, nature-based learning to all pupils.
