Magical fundraising raises £1053 for Pound Hill Infant Academy!
The Friends of Pound Hill Infant Academy organised a spectacular community event to raise funds for the school, marking a significant milestone as a first-of-its-kind event for the academy. The event, held across two magic shows from the Amigos Magic Foundation, saw the sale of 280 tickets and raised an impressive £1053 through ticket sales and refreshments.
The event was met with overwhelming enthusiasm from the community, as attendees enjoyed a refreshing and unique experience. The highlight of the event was the participation of children who coloured in an Amigo colouring sheet and were invited onto the stage to assist in the show, adding a delightful touch to the proceedings.
Feedback from the event was extraordinarily positive. One parent commented, "It was great to do something different and fun for all the family."
The University of Brighton Academies Trust expressed their delight upon learning of the event and the fundraising efforts from all at the academy. The success of this event is a testament to the strong community spirit and dedication of the Friends of PHIA. Well done!
